In a warm, welcoming studio environment, you’ll be guided step-by-step to hand-build your own plate for apples and honey, a central symbol of sweetness and hope for the year ahead. No prior pottery experience is needed, just bring your intention to create and connect. Whether you shape your plate with symbolic designs, Hebrew words, or gentle textures, your finished piece will become a treasured part of your holiday ritual.
Led by experienced ceramic artist Roleen Selby and Registered Counsellor and potter Kaela Sussman, this workshop offers more than just clay. It’s a space to reflect, to express, and to prepare for the new year with presence. You’ll also enjoy the grounding, tactile process of working with your hands as a creative and mindful practice.

Your plate will be fired after the session and will be ready for collection 2 to 3 weeks later, just in time for the holidays.
No experience necessary. All materials included. Suitable for adults and teens.

Terms & Conditions
Once you place your booking or order online, our system automatically sends you a confirmation email. This email contains your booking details, confirms your spot, and secures your place in the workshop. You don’t need to bring the confirmation on the day because we already record your booking in our system.
Workshops booked cannot be refunded or redeemed for a later date.
Please double-check your selected booking date and time at checkout.
If you are unable to attend, you may gift your spot to someone else.
Your piece will be ready to collect 2 to 3 weeks after the workshop. You will be notified via WhatsApp. All pieces must be collected within 6 weeks of the workshop date.
Clay Magic Pottery Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops at any point. Should this occur, you will be notified and offered a full refund or the option to join another session.
